Interceptor bolt help

Someone can probably answer this easily,

Jack just sent me the spring, ball, and screw that keeps the pin secure in the bolt, but i cant figure out how to put them in. I read that they go in the back, but whats the order? And where's the screw go?

Thanks alot, -tom

with the pin in its hole, align the curved side facing the back (this is where the ball sits). put in ball first, then the springs into the small hole at the back of the bolt & secure it with the screw. tight it just enough for the pin to move for bolt removal.

Okay that makes sence except:

The distance from the hole (where the pin goes) to the back of the bolt, is 1/8 of an inch. So theres not enough room for all three parts! Is my bolt not a regular sweep bolt? Its exactly 3 inches long.

You need to compress the spring so it puts pressure on the ball. That keeps the bolt pin locked down until you pull it up.

an 1/8 of an inch isnt enough room for the spring even fully compressed.

Crap. No, mine doesn't have the black part in the back, its all white. That bolt looks like its atleast 4 inches, mine is 3. I got the gun off Jessie Lapid, who played for xsv (not sure if he still does), maybe he cut it down?? I can hopefuly okie-rig it somehow, but the second problem i have is the screw that keeps the ball and spring in place, is too big for the hole. Oh snaps maybe cuz its suppose to fit in that black peice which i dont have on my bolt...

call jack back and request the correct spring and pin for the 09 Indy bolt. you have the wrong bolt pin assembly.
