Question New to paintball and my pro master won't shoot?

I just got a promaster from my friend and when i got it set up i tride shooting and it was leaking from the hol on the other side of the regulator across from where the hose connects and it was shooting but the balls were just rolling out the end of the barrel. any suggesions on what i should do? if its too expensive i'll just forget about the gun and get a different one.

Thanks
Nick

I'm guessing you have a Lasoya Promaster. The regulator has a bleed hole which vents all the gas when you unscrew the bottom screw (the pressure adjustment screw) past a certain point.

Turn that screw in (clockwise) until the venting stops.

Also, those Lasoya Promaster's had pretty bad high pressure regulators. Air the gun up and don't shoot the gun, just watch the high pressure gauge. If the gauge climbs in pressure without you touching anything, you're reg seal needs to be changed/flipped. Open up the reg (unscrew it from the center, not the bottom) and either turn the seal over or replace it with the replacement one.

For reference, the seal looks like a fat nylon washer.

Oh, excuse me.
Is that hole across from where the hose goes in threaded?

Then you need to go to the hardware store and get a small screw to plug that hole.

Ask the hardware employees for help. And make sure you get a roll of teflon tape and ask the hardware employees how to apply it in order to help seal the screw.

You don't need to, but it is recommended to upgrade from the stock regulator.

There should be a screw that you can adjust that is on the opposite side of the elbow for the hose. If you do have one there and it is leaking, put some teflon tape around it to help seal it to prevent any leaks.

check to see that your bolt is in correctly...the regular promaster can be put in upside down sometimes not letting the air through and the bolt just pushes the ball out the end of the barrel
