well a droid is a droid is a droid... so Hell yea! better then a tippy. a lil more expensive too but I think it could open up MacDev to the American Market a lil more. I would recommend it over ANY woodsball marker out there at this point. Wonder if they started a woodsball/scenario team at MacDev yet... |

The Irregulators use several Drones for their scenerio games in the US. I don't know how many of them switched from Borgs and Droids but I know several of them do use the Drone.

So? Bob Long is the only other thing I'm really happy shooting. They're probably one of the best shooting markers out there next to Macdev.
And before anybody starts saying 'Well an ego...', well and Ego nothing. Egos were based on the intimidator because Intimidators were dominating tournament paintball next to the Shocker.

who cares if its based of a timmy. Its still a nicer gun in my opinion. Ive owned 3 egos and i wouldnt mind shooting one again even though i love my droid. I hd problems with my timmy so i would never buy one again. I love egos

Heh, well if there was no intimidator there would be no Ego. That's how I look at it. Same thing as if there was no Spyder there would be no Intimidator.

This pretty much. I only owned an 06 Ego, even then I had the thing sold before I even got it in the mail from a friend. Played with it, shot alright, loud as sin in my ear though. Haven't been impressed at all with them except for maybe the SL74 which shot pretty decently. Played with an 09 Impact Ego, thing had wicked barrel rise in ramping and I could actually feel it trying to walk itself up.
Honestly the Ego is the reason I bought a Cyborg. Less money and better quality, not to mention hardly anybody in my area had them while everybody seemed to have egos. Still use my 07 Borgs and my Timmys because they're so much nicer in comparison. And I'm the kind of guy that likes to shoot other peoples markers to see what they're like. |

i hate ego9s. hey shoot horrid as well as ego10's and the sls. I have shot all of them. The best shooting egos in my opinion is the sl66 and sl74. sl8rs are nice as well. as for cyborgs i have shot an rx and it shot terrible. Extremely loud and had bad efficiency but it wasnt broken in so idk

sl74 is the best ego, but my rx shoots better then the sl74 did, and the sl74 was broken in perfectly

My cyborg shoots better then any ego hands down. When I can freaking feel the rammer rocking back and forth like in egos, something is up. They went for speed this whole time instead of smoothing out the shot. All they needed was a marker to do like 20+ bps (like most markers can do anyway these days) and smooth the shot out. Not make it faster and faster and faster and faster without compensating for that speed.
