quality control?

Hi everyone i am not new to paintball but i am new to the alien gun section. I am currently in the process of getting a new gun and i have heard nothing but great things about the 09 and 10 independence. I am trying to decide between that and the cyborg rx. I have another small company gun that isnt in the "game" anymore. My only concern is does alien test there guns before they send them out to ensure they are in proper working order? If you folks could help me out hat would be great thanks.

Yes Alien test all guns that leave their shop. I purchased an 09 Indy from Jack at USPL HB last year and he wouldn't sell me any of the guns at the show because he wanted to make sure he got to shoot the gun before it left his shop at 100%. They have some of the best customer service in the business. I had to send my indy back to them for a yearly tune up because I am hard on my guns, called the shop Jack calls me back and says sure no problem send it in. One year later I am still impressed with what Alien has to offer.

I would not hesitate to get the Indy over the Cyborg RX. Both are great guns, I just am so damn impressed with the '10 Indy. It is a great gun and needs to become more recognized as one of the nicest guns out there.

I've never owned a RX, but I absolutely love my Alien and would recommend it to anyone. This thread is somewhat ironic because I actually heard that the RX's have had some quality control issues in some of the early batches (they may have already fixed it). Regardless, I am sure you will be happy with either as both are great guns and have great companies behind them.

i own a 09 Indy and used an RX for a tourny. both sweet guns but i liked my 09 over the rx. you should def try and get your hands on both and and test them out.

I think it is law that manufacturers ensure that their guns work before they sell them. Atleast that's how it is in the real gun industry

Well, no manufacturer wants to ship product that doesn't work. That being said, they don't play a game with every gun once it's put together. If it shoots fine, and doesn't leak they ship it. That's no guarantee things won't happen later on. I've personally received many guns from every company that didn't work NIB. I'm cursed lol.

I wish I could give some insight on this issue but I haven't shot a borg so I can't really compare the two. I have, however, shot an alien and can honestly say that no one could not be impressed with that marker. Do the try and buy thing alien offers!

We brought an Alien 2010 T , A cyborg , A Rapper , and SEVERAL Egos to Huntington Beach.

Not only did we chose the ALIEN , but we even went and borrowed another one from Jack Rice ((( WHO GAVE US AN XSV TEAM GUN TO BORROW ))

THANKS JACK , SCOTT , TAYLOR and the ALien crew for being an inspiration to new teams like ours !

" Have YOU shot and Alien yet ? " .... Yes we have , and its was amazing !

SEE YOU IN CHICAGO !

I owned a really nice blitz cyborg rx new
and I owner a new 08 alien and a used 09

The cyborg beats it in efficiency . The cyborgs also has worse oled but. The cyborg kicks more then both aliens . I liked how the cyborg felt with the spacing compared to the aliens and their nice rubber grips . Though the aliens stock triggers are muchh nicer .

Both will shoot well and accurate . Hold them then decide .

I only shot my blitze cyborg for 2 cases so mine was far from kickless , it was very similiar in barrel rise on psp mode to my bob long vice .

borgs are wierd to tune and take a while to break in.
my 07 shoots smoother than a teammates broken in, upped droid(which has no kick even shooting one-handed). but when it was new, it kicked like a poorly tuned etek
..but somehow, i sacrificed efficiency cause i'm getting 1600 offa 68/45 now.
