Sherwood Forest is one of Indiana's oldest and most famous paintball fields. Sherwood Forest has over 80 acres to play on and boasts the largest castle in the Midwest. If you are a first time player or an experienced veteran you will find Sherwood's fields the best around.
The staging area features a huge, rustic pavilion, a rec center, and bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers!
There are no pallets, plywood, or other scraps on the field. The rolling hills are covered with lots of large hardwood trees, and bunkers are everywhere. Some are large sections of tree trunks used like hyperball tubes. The rest of the field improvements have been constructed of huge railroad ties. Enormous, two-story octagon towers, a cathedral, two small castles for each side's HQ, and many smaller buildings, houses, and bunkers are scattered throughout the field. Illuminated at night by dozens of tiki torches placed on major objectives and trails, the entire playing area takes on a spooky, medieval feel you will find nowhere else!
