cutting stock bolt

ok would it hurt to shorten the stock imp bolt to remove some weight, and also when the bolt is all the way back when i look down the breach i see a little bit of the bolt is this normal

Cutting it will be fine, just remember that the pin still needs room to function and be held in place by the set screw.


Seeing a very small sliver of bolt tip in the feedneck is normal and optimal.

ok and theres o-rings on the bolt would it be fine to drill holes along the tope tube
