Closer Problem(s)...
Bob long closer
Supercharged engine (Got at PSP phx)
AKA 2liter reg
(many other ups but none that effect my closer's airline)
So I work at a field in Arizona, hardly ever get to play. Well today was one of those rare days that I had an opportunity to play.. Gear up, take my gun out, go to chrono. First shot is fine, around 280. Second shot and all the shots after that aren't even full cycles. So I turned my reg up a bit and blew out the hose between the LPR and the noid.
Took it to my table, opened it up, reconnected the hose and reset the LPR pressure to 80. I then backed my reg out (AKA 2liter) and walked out to the chrono to try again.
Starts shooting fine, but then wont go over 140, no matter how far in the HPR is. Then it starts to leak down the barrel and then go full auto (While leaking down the barrel) at around 140 FPS. I waited for it to stop, pulled the trigger again and same thing. After that it started shooting normal, 280 for a few shots, then back to full auto at 140.
It shot fine last night, then went straight into my gearbag.
What. The. Hell.
I DID change the battery.

LPR is at 80, I backed my HPR out completely because the gauge on my tester is broken and pending replacement.

I set my LPR so that when the HPR hit it's right PSI, my LPR would be at 80.

nope
zero out both regs, set the HPR to 210
then set the LPR to 80
and btw if it shoots fine the first time, don't crank up the pressure

55 is too low. Wouldn't go below 65 unless you want severe bolt stick and fsdo. 80 on a new sc is just fine.

Were you standing within 10 ft of a Dye product? Shens on Dye product proximity if so.
