I feel like I've been raped.

After a very persistent leak with my Marq I sent it to my local pro shop, after a couple hours and a call for a status update they had nothing. So finally I decided to send it to blast, shipped Monday got a call today they said that they'd replace the poppet housing because that's what was causing the leak, anyway get to the end of the conversation and he said it comes to $75 for the repar and to ship it back. I may be wrong, but that *%& I feel like I just got hosed.

Opinions anyone?

You expected your local proshop to be done with it in a couple of hours? They have more guns to fix than just yours and also have customers to tend to.

It would have been cheaper if you would have just waited for your turn at the proshop.

I could have waited till Monday since it was on a Saturday, but he said an hour. His words "I'll be done in an hour, and will call you when it's fixed." I never try and rush people. And to the rest, I am just glad it's coming back to me. I would have paid a 100$, I love my gat.

I've sent a few markers to BLAST for various things over the years, and each and every time, my guns have come back cared for and perfectly tuned. Definitely worth the price of the repairs, IMO.

it pays for Joe's time. to track down the problem, rebuild the gun with new o rings and hell even macroline. chrono to speed with real paintballs. you'll get a hand written invoice from Joe saying what was replaced and what fps it was. all that for 30 bucks and 15 shipping UPS. its a steal in my eyes, cause when u take that first shot, its 300fps. no bs.

Just like most guns...most of the time it's user error and improper maintenance of the DM.

Personally, I feel it is worth the service you get. Not only do they Diagnose the problem, fix it, tune it up .. they do it in a timely matter. Bob Long has good service; unfortunately, it comes at a cost. Just like taking your car to get a tune up or dog to a vet, it will cost $$$ .

Planet Eclipse is one of the only companies that will do almost everything at no cost. I love that aspect of their company.

Considering how much they charge for what feels like a run of the mill marker. I would almost demand full marker service, cold beer, and happy endings for free.

But they do come in so many pretty colors. Kinda like toddler poop after a cupcake party in pre-school.

That is unless you have used the marker too much and they tell you to **** off.

I just got my Closer repaired. LPR Shrader valve replaced, eye cover screws replaced, detents replaced, trigger spring replaced, and engine rebuilt. All for a grand total of $15 (just the return shipping)

Blast!

I've never paid to send any of my markers in for servicing EVER. If you know what you're doing, you can save yourself a lot of money...as well as make some money by teching other people's markers locally.
