Guam might tip over

Infowars.com
April 1, 2010

No, it is not an April Fools’ Day joke. Democrat Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson said during an Armed Services Committee hearing last week that Guam is in danger. “My fear that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize,” he said in all seriousness.

“We don’t anticipate that,” responded Adm. Robert Willard. For some reason he did not bust out laughing.

Johnson went on to warn about climate change.

Guam tipping over!!! why is none of the media reporting on this... this should be on the top of the list. Can you imagine the devastation that could occur if the people are not made aware that this is even possible?

I don't post here very often anymore, but I thought you all might enjoy this one, so I'll leave you to it.

Was the other thread closed because it showed a democrat looking bad?

Is PBN becoming a liberal only paintball board?

It's not even geographically possible for it to "tip over" and that was exactly what he meant. His own hand gestures support his own argument.

But I don't think its appropriate to imply climate change is any less valid because someone who probably didn't have the opportunity to receive decent early education mentions it.

Yes geophysically, my bad.

I would imagine he does not know a great deal about plate tectonics really. I find myself wondering what other democrats are thinking and possibly saying to him. It's not the worst thing, certainly not as bad as doing something harmful to Americans, but it simply does not make you look very good. How does somebody like that even win a Representative seat?

I don't believe Georgia could impeach him, if they even wanted to.
