Removing Quick Puncture Tool

Can anyone help me or walk me through. I'd like to remove the tooless quick puncture tool that was factory installed when I first got my T9 and would like to install the remote adapter. I honestly have no clue how to take apart the magazine.

Is it the puncture tool with the little folding handle that magnetically retracts into the screw?

Screw it all the way in, until it falls out into the area where you'd put the 12 gram.

If it's the First Strike compatible magazine with the plastic knob that magnetically retracts into the screw, there's a small pin that holds it on the screw. Knock it out with a small allen wrench, pin punch, or nail. Then screw it in until it falls out into the area where the 12 gram goes.

Yes its the one with the swivel. I screwed it inward all the way but from that point on it wont fall through where the cartridge is.

what I did what screw it all the way out but then your stuck it will not go and you cant use the tool less part to help you out. so what you do is get a rag and put it on the base that holds the co2 and get pliers and place it on there on on screw it, but just watch it so you dont mark it up to much. hope this helps, once out srew in the air line adapter and tighten it up with I think its 7/16 wrench. its the way I did it and it worked fine
