DSDM's is pretty amazing. Can't see how anyone can go against it. I remember when I did a very similar mod myself. I pretty much had an ego7 body, frame, asa, barrel, feedneck, bolt, poppit, and more ion myself. It shot like no other ion I've ever seen. Pretty sure yours would be the same. The doodoo brown and white combo look great as well. Did you happen to anno it yourself?

It is hand painted with crushed glass crystals. It took about 63 hours for the right look.

I don't even know why I bother to post my sp8 in this contest. I'm never gonna get the votes. I like the idea of a ion platform contest but youre never gonna let a non ion win. So good try but you might as well just make it an ion only contest again cause what you're doing right now isn't fooling anyone

Not let a non-ion win? The votes come from all over PBN. I forgot to make this a public poll, but if you could see who votes, you'd see it's not just ion owners.

I'm sorry, but you may have not meant this so negatively, but honestly it sounds like your whining because you're not getting the votes. If you want more votes try doing something original. Washington's ion full of customization. Unless I'm missing something, it looks like you just threw a few things on your SP8.

I'm sorry that you will no longer be entering, but if you're not getting the votes it's surely because of your SP8 and not everyone voting.

We as judges have obviously put your marker into this contest because we felt it was something different. After we put you into that contest, we have absolutely no control over who votes for what guns or what they like.

You are currently tied for second place, I don't understand how you think you are never going to win. I personally like your marker but, I guess we are just fooling our selves.

When you have a gun such as washington's or my own personal gun of the UL'd ion, when you have a gun that is unique and it isn't winning, please by all means, let me know.

The ion is a much more versatile marker, you can make it into any thing that you want it to be. While the SP8 has the general look and will always look very similar to what it looks like stock. That is why I feel this competition is much better than any of the others on pbnation. All of the other groups with their gun of the month and such, they are simply comparing colors and a few assorted upgrades. We are comparing an entire gun that for one person could look completely different than the other.

Please look through the voting threads, we generally don't allow guns that even look remotely stock into the contest. We as judges try to get the cream of the crop, the best of the best.

This contest isn't about what is on the inside (bolts, qev's, boards etc) This is about how the gun looks.

I mean, at this point I simply feel like you were just a waste of an entry, I should have just picked someone else other than you. You feel that we have some way of rigging this contest and we don't. We have no control over who votes for/against you.

I hope to see you enter the contest again.

I def vote more on performance than looks, just saying. It helps having both though.

I judge on performance upgrades, customization, and looks/flow of the marker. Just because one may fail one category doesn't mean it doesn't get in. Washington's looks like poo. Not that I have a way that it wouldn't with the amount of customization it has, but it does. With that in mind Washington beats all in customization as it is some thing has been attempted and until this point never been completed which is a pump ion.

But really, like proto said, once it's in the contest it's in the hands of the public forum. Judges have a total of 6 votes. Which always vary typically since we all have our same tastes. Funny thing is that I did vote for you.
