The Tm15 has a lot of advantages over an A5. It gets more shots per tank, can shoot faster, is a lot quieter and smoother. It tends to be vastly more consistent from shot to shot as well. However, it can't be used with CO2 and requires a separate loader (either a standard hopper or a TM Ripclip).
If you're having cyclone problems with your A5, I would recommend getting a Flasc Paintball ripclip adapter and a RipClip to replace the cyclone with. I've never had luck with my cyclones, even once heavily modified with TechT parts. By comparison after several months I have never had an issue with my RipClip. IMO the cyclone is really the only big negative about the A5, because it is too rough on paint. So if you don't want to spend $450 on a TM15, you don't have to. It will be an upgrade but ultimately any gun can be competitive so long as it shoots unbroken paint out of the barrel at 280 fps.
