just tape up the porting on the tip of the barrel so water wont coat the barrel and make you shoot all over the place. Keep the dwell stock unless it's really cold then you may want to up it a ms or so. Also don't dive into a puddle of water lol

Yeah spoolies are great in that way that water can't get in unless you submerge them practically. I just had a rainy tourney and all I needed was tape on the porting and to dry off the outside every couple games.

Just put black tape on the holes on the barrel it will make it more loud but it will keep it more accurat.

I actually sat down with Ledz one time and had him explain the torture tests they put the electronics through on PE guns...and trust me...you will die before the gun does in most cases!! LOL

Because we are a scenario team we play in really really really really crappy muddy wet snowy rainy sleety weather in the woods...in trenches with 6 inches of water in them...you get the idea....and since we started with Eclipse 4 years ago we have ever only had one board that fried due to the elements...

so you should be good to go!

It's true, I seem to get shot in the trigger frame quite often and therefore get paint all over the board. But I just clean it off and it still works no problems.

I think almost everything ive heard about whats been said is FALSE! In the rain, its DOESNT affect how the ball flys....ive tested this theory because i live in minnesota and it rains alot here as well...We have put water IN the barrel and the ball shot just fine, and we have done this quiet a few times, we have "while shooting a stream at 12.5" pured water over the end of the barrel and there was no problems...Dont waste your money and time wrapping the end of your barrel..

Dont be a smartass. I have owned countless guns and played in the SNOW, pouring rain, and mud, i have never ONCE had a problem with water getting into the barrel...Just make sure you keep shooting, im sure if you let it sit outside for 1 hour and get FULL you might have an issue...But other than that you wont...Ever watched any classic game vids with chris lasoya and infamous when there shooting timmys in the rain and mud, i didnt see any tape and there guns and they won the tournament, dont try tell me what i know.

Dshooter is right I guess.. As our coach's advise was to keep shooting at all time to keep water from building up that may cause a odd shot going wayward... But the other reason is to keep the paint from sitting too long exposed to rain (specially hoppers with quick feed) and may start to swell causing problems....

As to special setting? Don't think I have one for rain... Just to overbore my barrel... Tape the barrel if you feel better about it too

Chill guys

swell?? not only that, I've seen paint stick to other paint... they become a chain of balls that jam the loader... rain can be terrible if you're using quickfeeds...
spend your loader FAST
