Structure & Rules
Q: What format is does the HTS play?
A: The Hurricane tournament series is a RaceTo format league, the same as the PSP. We have two divisions: D3, playing RaceTo4 and D2 playing RaceTo5.

Q: Who can play in the HTS
A: The Hurricane tournament series has two divisions. We have a D3 division for newer teams and a D2 division for more advanced teams. We use the PSP rulebook and the APPA player ID system to determine roster eligibility.

Q: What are the rules?
A: The Hurricane tournament series uses the PSP rulebook and APPA player ranking guidelines.

Q: What does it cost?
A:Entry fees for D3 are $500 per event. Entry fees for D2 are $550 per event. HTS is a field paint only tournament series. We have two options for paint, one at $40 per case and the other at $50 per case.

Q: How much paint will I shoot?
A: Per PSP guidelines, D3 teams, playing RaceTo4, should expect to shoot between 6 and 8 cases per match (and will play at least 4 matches). D2 teams, playing RaceTo5, should expect to shoot between 7 and 9 cases per match (and will play at least 3 matches).

Q: What are the prizes?
A: At each event, the first place team in each division will receive entrance & 10 cases at the next HTS event and the second place team will receive entrance to the next HTS event.

At the end of the year, the series champions in each division will receive either entrance and 35 cases of paint at the 2010 PSP World Cup or entrance and 25 cases of paint to the 2011 HTS series.

The most improved D3 team for the 2010 season will receive free entry to the 2011 HTS series.

Q: Are the events field paint only or BYOP?
A: HTS is FPO.

Q: What type of paint is available?
A: HTS will use exclusively RPS paint. We will offer Formula 13 and All Star paint.
