So, I want to get into soldering, and I was wondering if anyone had any good project ideas that a beginner solder-er could make? Something that's cheap but has that cool factor to it. Or something useful.
Or hell. Just something to help me get into soldering.
if you can get one of the spring loaded plunger ones, those are pretty *****in'. as long as the solder is all melted, it's all coming off. the only one i'm seeing at radio shack has mediocre reviews, but similar stuff shouldn't be too hard to find.

...but not for the led's, we dont have them that small
edit: and that plunger solder sucker does kinda suck, we have one on our work bench and it never works for me. I just use the copper braid if i really need to.
I made a led xmas sweater at work for an ugly xmas sweater party. I'll see if I can find pics.
It's just has a bunch of leds sticking out the front of it.
edit: found one, but i know i'm gonna catch **** for it. so ignore everything but the sweater. kthx
