New Victory issues, Please help.
I finally got the new Vic in the mail. The back cap that lifts to remove the engine is very loose, when aired up it does not secure it's self. Upon shooting the cap would lift with marker kick, I had to hold down the cap during firing. Any thought's? or am I needing to send it back to Blast?

The pin is in solid, the back cap will open if the marker is held upside down. Is there any retention system for the pin?

Has there been any issues with the magnet holding the pin in? It doesn't seem to have one in the grip.

It doesn't appear to have any magnets in the pin whole. There are supposed to be 2 of them?

After removing the grip frame, there is no magnet. Does anyone have or know where I can find a photo of the magnet placement in the grip?

Grip? What are you talking about?
There should be 2 magnets, one in the backcap and one in the back block
Take a minute and read the manual
http://www.boblongdirect.com/downloa..._Manual_v1.pdf
Page 12 has a clear picture as to where the magnets are located

Why would you remove the grip frame?
Remove the engine assembly.
Take a 5/32 hex wrench and remove the stainless steal pin, bottom side rear under back cap.
This removes the back cap, sounds like the glue on the back cap gave way.
Clean the area and use some good super glue and remount the magnet in the cap.
Make sure use the magnet's polarity is in the correct direction.
Let dry and reassemble.
Sorry for your troubles.

Hawaii?
Oh the pain!
Been to the field and back already, forgot a kids marker and heading out again. Going to quit early anyway, got some work on the Vette and need the daylight.
Have a great time in the islands!
Oh, it's just a new X-Ball field, played the Phoenix layout last week and this one.
The layout is fun, but it's X-Ball, they only can do so much.

Thanks fellas, I was under the impression that the magnets was retaining the pin, not the back cap itself. The magnet has come free from the cap as suggested. Easy fix, glad to finally be a part of the Marq forum, fantastic help.

I had the same problem with my Vic. I just took super glue, and glued the magnet in place where it should be.
And I have no problems with this now.
