hmmmm new sniper... mill/lathe access, what to do!
just picked up a sniper in a trade....
milled a mini/midget/halfblock last winter (mq2'd!)
and a sharkbite wave to another body
not sure what i want to do to this......
anybody have anythin exciting i should do?
i have full access to a precision machine shop
mills/lathes/saws/presses
what should i do to this?
i was thinking it would be cool to midget the back of a gun, but then leave the black block.... sleeper midget? haha

as long as you don't beat me to the punch on a P/A sniper, we're cool.
also, considering i don't really have steady access to much of that, and getting time on a mill might be more about luck than anything else, if you want to swipe my plans as proof of concept, i'll send them your way

System X cocker
Midget with a backblock sounds cool. Copy the milling of a DM or something and call it Dye prototype pump.

oooooh
i was thinkin what if i did a midget, but made it midgeted so that the end of the back block ends with the frame.....
so the back of the body would be like an L shape and the block would be missing the bottom bit....

Midget, mini, bore out the slide shaft for volume or lathe up a Rudy dean-ish one and bore out the handle. add a CCM 86* frame with autotrigger and mill the frame out for a universal t board etc., mq2, mill the oval as far forward and back on both tubes as you can to have it look good, plunge the milling bit down as far forward and back as you can to expose as much bolt and mq as you can and have it functional, round off the body to match the back block, anno everything gloss black with purple splash. Mow faces with the Dec 2010 POTM.
