Where I hunt a deer that size is hard to come by. Never seen him in the daylight but I ended up taking a 11pt that was quite a bit smaller. Sounds big but it was only 15 1/2 in wide.

Does anyone hunt in Illinois? I was thinking of taking a trip to Pike county. I hear they regularly shoot 120 class bucks.

pike county illinois is some of the best deer hunting in the country from what ive herd. 120 class is like a cull buck there. lol

Yea you always hear things about it through the vine but never from anyone who actually hunted there. Just curious if the area was all its cracked up to be. I know huge bucks are taken there, but is it from the state land or from ranches.

i know someone that hunted there personally. him and the guy that he hunted with took big 10 point bucks. prolly 130-140 class.
