Mini Shorting out
OK so today i took my mini out just to play around with it and shoot it a little but whenever i turned it on and pull the trigger it shorts out and turns off, so i took it apart and i put both boards together and turned it on it wouldnt turn on. So i took the solenoid off and it was perfectly fine. The second i plug in the solenoid the gun automaticly dies. Does anyone know if this is a solenoid or the board in the body going wrong, or even the foregrip board? Please help!!!!!!

Make sure that you have a fresh battery. Also, check the two set screws on the top of the fore grip above the power button and make sure that they are tight.

tryed that. The first thing that i thought was oh maybe the battery was dead and i tryed like a whole bunch of fresh new batteries

i dont know much but i would think its the solenoid if everything seems ok till you hook up the solenoid then sounds like that might be the problem

yea im going to hit up the pro shop at the field near my house and have them look at it, im just trying to see if anyone on here would have any ideas if anything else could be wrong

Is there any chance of water or moisture being in the gun or on the boards?

yea because iw as playing woodsball back in october with it and i took it out for the first time since and it could have had water in it. but see i took the two boards out and you know how those prongs in the foregrip attach into solenoid board? well i turned it on and it was fun but the second i plug the solenoid into the board it shuts off. and then sometimes ill have the gun together, ill turn it on and itll be fine untill i pull the trigger. this even happens if there is no gas or if i have the eyes on with no gas

yea i know, ill try that to. im going to call customer service tonight and if they tell me its either the boards(which i doubt it) or the solenoid(like i think it is) im going to take it to my pro shop and see what they can do with it

i just called KEE today and the guy said its most likely the sensory board so they are shipping one out for me. so lets hope thats it

Did you check the wires going to the solenoid? If one of them has come loose from the connector that attaches it to the sensor board it would short out whenever you try to activate the solenoid. I had it happen on one of my Mini's and I had a loose connection between the solenoid and the sensor board.
