After receiving
KL05 from Lee it had definitely seen a lot of battle on the field. And, from what I understand, you didn't want to find yourself on the
business end of it in the hands of Lee. But, being the way I am wired, I had to take it apart and clean and restore it to my likings. All steel parts were reblued, bolts replaced with stainless ones, nickel was polished and I refinished the stock. The stock really has some wild grain patterns to it giving it a very unique look. This was all done over the coarse of a weekend. I think it really turned out nice. By the way, the coffin is very symbolic of the fact that this one is going with me to the grave. Glad to be a lifetime member of this exclusive club! Now for a KBA...
