I do not own one (wish i did) but i have shot one. great marker, did have a few issues with the first ones off the line but other then that it seems like there are very few problems.

the only things i have heard that are bad, is that if your detents get lost, rip, whatever, its very hard to get replacements altho Timmy (?) detents work just need to cut them a bit.

also i have seen where people take dives and the feedneck breaks off...which is not fun for any gun. only saw this twice, once on nation and this past weekend (it was horrible i wanted to cry).

other then those two very minor issues, its a great gun and I say go for it

GI Milsim sells the .50cal version.

Most of what I've heard is good, unless it came from the mouth of an anti-SP bandwagon d-bag. But as stated, they're not without some minor problems. The detent thing is an easy fix, but as far as the feedneck issue, I really don't know what SP's solution has been. I think there was something mentioned where they were replacing the upper tubes on some of the early ones, but I don't remember where I saw that. But unless you're the type of guy that slams his gun into the ground every time you dive into a bunker, you shouldn't have much to worry about.

honestly, get 'em while you can... i snagged two in this past week - in near new condition... when smart parts get back online, impulse value will go up!
