Leaking LP regulator

I just purchased a new LP regulator and it still leeks air out of the front. What can I do? This is the one in the handle that is connected to the solenoid.

Is the lpr leaking or the solenoid?

leaking Solenoid lpr pressure out put to high.
leaking out the screw adjuster might just need o-ring lubed.

It is leaking air from the small hole in the front of the LP valve. I have the High pressure screw turned all the way out. When I start putting pressure to the gun it starts to leek. Do I need to have the pressure already turned up some to start with.

I would suggest screw your HP in not out most HP regs out increases pressure.
LPR is in to increase opposite.

Leak there is most likely an o-ring is dry rotted or just needs lube.

Unscrew lpr till screw is loose so no pressure on reg springs(not out)
Screw HP in slow till it stops open 2 maybe 3 full turns see if lpr leaks. If it does o-ring is dry rotted or just needs lube.
if not slowly screw lpr in till it gun cocks with no problem.

What type gun do you have?

I've actually had this happen once or twice when the HPR (inline reg) was too low. As I brought the gun up to the normal operating pressure it'd seal correctly.
