was there paintball this Sunday? I heard no, but someone I met on Kadena said they saw people playing.

no, there was no paint supposedly, some of us ref'd for the younger kids on saturday though.

There was play on Sunday. They had 6 cases split amongst 13 people.

Yeah, retire. I won't sell this gun. I have too many fond memories of here, Malaysia, ect. playing with it. It's not a stupid idea.

Ah, keyword is "main." Retire means to never use again. Refering it to anything other than a "main" would mean it is a "backup", thus you could be using it at some point in time.

Not really, because it's not going to be a gun that I keep in my gearbag as a backup. It's going on my gunstand at home, with my other 2 retired guns. Every once in a while, I bust them out and shoot them, just to make sure they get taken care of, because it's a good opportunity to do basic maintenance and cleaning on them too.

Well, I mean, you may think of your guns as just a piece of gear. I think of mine as chapters of my life. I'd rather have a retired paintball gun on display in my room to remember a time in my life, than a few dozen small useless trinkets tucked in a box in a drawer somewhere. I mean, look at Malaysia, this gun went with me, and there were a lot of good memories there. There's a lot of good memories from Japan. My SL94 is kind of my way of keeping those good times alive.

I's not like I buy a new gun every year or anything. I just have one hell of an opportunity to get something new pretty soon. The SL94 is still a really nice gun, and I have a lot of fond memories attached to it.
