Ignore this man. You should almost always start on a young guns team. Unless you are some kind of child prodigy, jumping in with an older team will be difficult and most likely not something you can afford. Young guns tournaments are designed to be a segway for young ballers to go from rec to tournament style paintball. They are always designed with the player's safety and well being in mind, and are meant to be fun, not a cut-throat competition like most divisional play.
Now to answer your actual question, go to the Midwest forum and go to the Ohio section. In there you will find field owners post upcoming events and there may even be a sticky with a list of upcoming events in your area.
