is there anyone out there with an equalink cable that would be able to update the board for my nme? I have the software on my computer, i just don't have the cable to link it w/ my board. someone local would be best to avoid trust issues w/ shipping anything. I live in west Michigan (GR area).

I can do them and have done them for others in this forum. You can check my feedback to see I'm legit. I don't charge anything. You just pay shipping both ways (preferably send me a pre-paid pre-addressed mailer to send it back in).

I'm currently working on a board for seriouslysilly (should be sending it back to him on Monday).

Just PM me if you want me to do flash it for you.

Yup, tjs0349 has been very patient and helpful with my newly acquired NME. He has answered all my questions about the marker.
I recently sent him my WAS board to be flashed because it only had SEMI mode.

Monday, huh, cool the parts should all be done by then. Can`t wait to test her out

if I am mistaken, i believe the LEs came with the 3 firing modes. If so, then I don`t think there is a need to flash

You get ramping modes. My LEs didn't have ramping when I got them. That's why I picked up the equalink cable.
