Hi Y'all just joined the site. I'm from Northern, IL and have fallen greatly out of touch with the sport. I used to play quite a bit when I was in 7th-9th grade and kinda put my stuff away after that and drug it out for the first time since then yesterday. I'm not a sophomore in college and am thinking about getting back into it a little bit on a recreational level.

Here's what I've got for out dated and entry level equipment.

And my gun. (the red spyder is for whoever wanted to use it.)


I'm not to sure what's good for guns right now on the mid range market, I used to be pretty up to date on the stuff back in 7th-10th grade and now I don't remember squat besides Angels are still expensive and getting hit stings for a minute.
Any tips, recommendations, or questions are welcome.

Hey everyone, I'm not new per-say but I often try to answer posts in the New Players forum and I figured I'd tell you a little bit about myself.

I've been playing paintball for about 7 years, joined PbNation about 5 years ago. In that time, I have been through many, many markers. I've played in several Paintball tournaments, as well as uncountable woodsball games with friends. Outside of paintball, I go to school full time, and am working to become a police officer.
My current marker stable is composed of:
-08 Ego
-Project Slavo
-SL68-II (pump)

It's nice to see so many new members in 2009 and 2010. I look forward to helping you guys out, and hopefully playing with some of you on the field.
