More good news for Angel Owners
I'm now building and selling Data Links that work with the Angel LCD marker. These work with all the software that was made by APS. These are being made in small batchs of 5-6 per batch. As long as the board is in working condition these can help you restore your the boards in your markers that have been sitting in the bottom of your closet for the past decade and have ended up being locked in semi mode only.
I'm also making drop in replacement 6v and 4.8v battery packs @ 1600mAh that work with the Angel Markers. No mods or changes to the markers are required. They are just that drop in replacements. You take the old battery and harness out and put the new one in and you are ready to go.

this is great news (and even better as far as the batteries) I'm assuming the batteries will also have charger?

I know that one because WDP came after SP because of being able to reprogram our guns (eventhough we never sold cables to do it yourself). We lost, and then later it was over turned. And that took place in the US.
And yes, I was just trying to be nice.

I'm currently working on making chargers that will work for the Markers. I plan on trying to have them ready in the next few months.

This I am aware of. As well as I'm sure of the batteries falling under a patent as well. And that is one reason why everything I make and sell is for non profit and everything I make has the plans posted for DL so anyone that wants to can make the items on their own. If APS wanted royalties for the items I'd be more then happy to pay them the 4-5 bucks I may make. But I would doubt APS would go after some hobbiest making stuff in his home for items they no longer make or support. I do thank you for your concern and heads up though.

not only that, but I mean, if ppl get their angels shooting again, maybe it's a good thing for APS, and ppl might buy a new one after the fall in love with their angel again (best case scenario)

Let's try not to get too far off topic guys. This is great news for owners of vintage and unsupported Angels with aging boards and batteries. Because factory support is starting to taper off for these models (or has virtually stopped, as is the case for the LCD Datalink and stock boards), I don't think WDP will be interested in targeting these for patent infringement. Great job, phantom!

Thank god, I need a new battery for my LCD, this one is on its last legs. Its all stock, so at this point I want to attempt to keep it that way if possible.

So far he's got his own cat, his own paintball field, and his own box fort with cat; of course he's got girls.
He's on the gravy train with biscuit wheels, what more could he want?

Yes please lets try to stay on topic. I dont think they would etheir but just to cover grounds Ive sent a message over to Jay at APS and FMA as well just to cover grounds.
On another note Im already out of batteries. They went out of stock the other day. As I do everything in short batches I will have some more very soon. I will also be making more then normal just to keep a larger stock of them. Chargers will be soon to follow.

This is good news for older angel users... knowing there is a more easily available source means I might pick one up again.
