honestly i think the cxbl will be nothing without axbl. i mean its not fun when you dont have the two leagues fighting it out for best of the nax. now its just who is the best in canada.

Well that sucks for the americans, but hopefully this means they drop more funds into our events up here north of the border.

Foxball has a saturday league with open spots; NEXL, and then the hurricanes league are open too.AXBL ending pushes for more local leagues to fill up; and atleast you'll know the events wont be hours away.

To be honest there isvery few people showing discontent with the direction of the league so why shut out EVERYONE like that without a reason.

To say "the AXBL is done because these 5 guys aren't happy" is pretty ridiculous.

Im curious if there is any other reason and this may be some kind of scapegoat.

Ha, Canadians. They are just angry because they lost to the American hockey jouniors in the finals and now they have nothing to live for so they are punishing us. In other news, while I am surprised at the same time I'm not at all. High five for CXBL!

Honestly guys... Sodus is not that bad.

This is paintball, remember. It is not a far jaunt back into the past when professional events were held on grass, sand, dirt, whatever. People staged out of their cars and slept in parking lots. They didn't care about flashy this or shiny that. We played in the woods. We rented retard vans and spent thousands on plane tickets and hotels and believed there was something great to be gained by playing anywhere with people from all over who wanted to do one thing - play.

I am disappointed to hear this news... I am disappointed for everyone who spent their time and money in the league or who helped in its creating and development, and for all the players who have spent money they didn't always have to enjoy Paintball...

There will be other places to play. no worries. the axbl wasn't here at one point and we were still all playing.

Set up some tournaments between some of the fields that are still around and lets still have a great summer

what makes me laugh is that they are saying they tried to preserve Xball. We created xball. Hell if it wasn't for the U.S there wouldnt be paintball so yeaaa.

Im just pissed i loved the axbl last year was my first season and it was the bomb.

Im not really to surpised, with the economy the way it is and all the owners *****ing its really no surpise at all. He should of just posted the dates and locations and if teams or owners didnt wana play then too bad dont play, I feel they spent too much time and effort trying to make everyone happy(witch is IMPOSSIBLE) so this is how they have decided to deal with it.

WTF is wrong with Mitch!!!!! We were complaining because he never consulted players or owners to see what they wanted n the first place. And since we were complaining about the dumb decisions made without our consent he shuts down the league. Bull S*** move. We just wanted a little say in the decisions, not "NO PLAYING". If we didn't care what happened that would show a lack of interest in the league. But because we did care that shows that we wanted it, and in a better way. >>>>>
