Did anyone ever make a trayless mod or frame for the old impy? Not throwing an ego or dm frame on it, but an actual Impy part.

No official parts were ever made.

Anything that existed *trayless* was simply an adapted version by the individual owner.

The hard part about going trayless is that the noid ports are offset which limits the type of frame used.

I'm working on a trayless adrenaline as we speak. Any impulse that is trayless and has the frame that is still lined up in the center of the gun(ie. not off set to one side or another), will have to run barbs and hoses. This is because the solenoid sticks out about 1/2 inch below the body, but the solenoid is also off-set, so for it to fit in a trayless frame the frame would have to be off-set on the gun.

or a pocket built onto the frame to cover the noid would work too. however it would stick the cover to just above where the thumb would rest
