i have a Voodoo bolt cut way short and am at an extremely low operating pressure. just curious as if there is any advantages of the NDZ Equalizer bolt or not?? the stubby ones to be exact

If I remember from past reviews, the NDZ stubby still had the highest fps of any bolt tested.

Your results may vary, but it could only be 10fps or less of a gain as well.

Voodoo made great products, you went ahead and modded it even further. If everything is running smoothly now, I would stick with what you have and enjoy the setup.

No need to fix something that is already tuned and operating great.

thanks for the help msonic. the gun is only operating at 120 psi @280fps. i just wanted to know if there actually would be a considerable amount of difference or not. 10 fps is no flurry.

as far as mechanical performance the gun has:
tape worm
modded voodoo
slik shot
brass hammer
lpr will be on soon

ha ha yeah i have a stock valve. i just havent gotten around to switch it yet. why change it for no reason when i am already at 120 psi and its not causing an issue?? if i end up getting one though its gonna be the new ndz rip valve

well like i said i have the voodoo bolt and am at 120psi operating pressure. the bolt is for a friend who is curious as voodoo bolts are harder to come by. and i plan on getting the valve

if he just wants to buy a new bolt the equalizer is about the best.

yea i modded my bolt too .it did two thins for me. oneI did not like it sticking out the back. plus took weight off lowered my PSI less kick

The New designz bolt is the only one with an oversized and angled inlet port. I found that the efficiency and slight fps increase was well worth it, especially when you combine it with the RIP valve, which is available from NDZ again.

If you don't have the RIP valve, you have no idea how much of a leap in performance it gives. I got about a 20 psi decrease on HPA if I remember right.

No more "Ding" sound from a valve spring during firing.
Huge efficiency/FPS gain
Extreme reliability
The spring is internal, so less parts to keep track of.

well i know exactly how the RIP works and if i got one in this imp my operating psi will be below 100.... and my bolt wasnt even out the back at all. just cut off the wasted space and dropped the operating psi by 60
