The XE kit is suppose to come with a shorter back frame screw because of this problem. I had them in the wrong spot once and dinged it a bit, still seals though. Also make sure all the air is out of it before you unscrew the back cap, for future reference.

before you stick the back cap on thread your rear frame screw (10-32 allen head silver screw) all the way in. Turn your gun around and look inside the back where the cap threads in and see if the frame screw is sticking out (through the threaded portion of the firing can) enough so you can see it. if it is you need to cut it a little or buy a shorter screw at the hardware store.

I ordered the hollow point. What would be the right dwell and operating pressure settings to use with the hollow point?
