2009 PTS Series Prizes for 5 Man & 3 Man
On this past Friday, I was finally delivered the all the PTS Info, Scores, and Standings from the group that ran the 2009 PTS for Pevs. During the 2009 Season, Series Prizes were never offered or advertised due to weak economy which resulted in lack of Prizes Sponsors. The only mention of prizes were for each event and those prizes were based upon a minimum of 25 teams. However, only 2 of eight events had the 25 teams, yet event prizes were still issued for ALL 8 EVENTS.
After much thought and discussion I have the following comment: ONLY because of some previous years of the PTS, Pev's provided series prizes, I have decided to offer a simple Series Prize Package for 2009. Keep in mind, Pev's NEVER offered series prizes for 2009 and teams were made aware at the beginning of the season. These Prizes are non-negotiable and for those teams who wish to continue your slanderous threats, please feel free. If you choose to not participate in the 2010 PTS, it's your choice.
Prize Pick Up Meeting:
Prizes must be picked up in person on Sunday January 31, 2010 at Pev's Paintball Park Aldie from 11am to 2pm. NO EXCEPTIONS.

thats just rude. PEVs is offering some solid prizes. It was stated that there wasn't going to be series prizes and yet people still demanded them. So PEVs is GENEROUSLY offering some and you still complain? Thats just disrespectful. You should be grateful that they are giving you something for free.

this is not anything about being ungrateful/hating pev's...you looked at it the wrong way. my team got more entries to play these events but most of us went on to other things so that is why i said that. i appreciate the prizes just wish i could use them. pev's has always done me well. not looking for any forum fights just saying.

Do you ever stop complaining? I've tried to stay out of this for long enough. Ridiculous.
First it was "There are no prizes"
Then Pev's puts together a package after hearing complaints from you guys. And I was there earlier this year, there were no such advertisments from the company on series prizes, not one thing said that the prizes were " PM7's or EGO9's" You got what you got.
Just because its something you won't use or want doesn't mean that its bad.
It equates to FREE paintball entry for the some of the upcoming season. If you won 5-man, than you get paint as well.
If you are playing tournament paintball for the prizes, you are going to be one sad baller, and I say this to anyone. With the way the industry is now, prizes have been cut back in all leagues. If you don't like it, save your money and stay home, playing video games where "life matters" You play events to be with your paintball brothers, the glory of a sweet victory and to up your game.

Due to the snow this weekend, we understand some teams may not be able to come to Pev's Park to collect their prizes. If you are unable to come today, please contact the park at 703 327 7640 and let us know, so we can schedule another time. Thanks
