[Rock30Games]

Just wondering if there is a ND Paintball League and if so, does anyone have the contact info? If not, do you think there would be enough interest to start one?

I work for Rock 30 Games and we are looking to sponsor or host some paintball events/tournaments this summer (2010). Possibly in Dickinson, Bismarck, Jamestown, Fargo and Grand Forks.

I was hoping to find a building to rent to host an indoor event this winter (Jan. or Feb.) but so far I'm not having any luck.

As far as I know, there is no league in ND. As for starting one, its hard to say how much interest there is.

There is a field in Belfield. PM IversoN on here that may take care of your Dickinson place. I dont know about any others.

I could see only three or four teams joining on for a "series" but random teams from local areas coming look at the BFTB numbers those would be a decent indication I would think.

Opinions - What would you like to see Rock 30 Games do to help promote and plan paintball events??

just get the name out would be the biggest thing. bring rentals for people who have never played before or something. If you had a set field that would be a huge help but hard to do.

Thanks diablodow. We were thinking of holding training sessions to get more people interested in the sport. Newbies might not want to try a tourney right off the bat.

yeah i think a league would definitly hit off with a few teams, we just need more people involved. Plus with belfield being the true field around here, we would need to see if more places could get on board, because i kno that most parents wont let there fifteen year old kid drive all the way across nd just to play. We need more airball fields.

Also you could have separate divisions too, so the younger players wouldnt get romped on by the more experienced ones

We actually are thinking of investing in some airballs, the problem is trying to find a location. I contacted some commercial buildings, but they all want 3 - 5 years leases.

Yeah, but if you can maybe contact some recreational places, like iverson did with the gun club, you might be able to get some land that they will let you use. My stepdad is president of the minot rifle and pistol club, I could talk to him and see if there is any chance they would let us use some of their land.

BFTB is in thought, and to be at my field in Belfield. First thing we need is someone with land...I'm down in California playin some rec ball right now, and I went to Extreme Paintball in Modesto. Very nice field, hella lotta people, and anything you need at a field. If your looking to set something up, keep it on interstate and around bismarck, centralize it to where people are going to want to get in a car on a Saturday to come out. I am willing to hold a couple big weekends at my place, just lmk.

i would suggest talking with imberiman(adam imberi) from watertown, sd about getting things started. he would have some good suggestions for you. he is a big reason for the I29 series in SD.
you could look in the South Dakota section to find his name.
