just got epiphany for xmas. at first it was shooting at 200 psi but the shots would get sluggish when i walked the trigger so i increased velocity and shoots fine but the balls are flying all over the place. just need advice on how to fix problem or better accuracy

take out the insert. Higher dwell, lower PSI.

and then pick up more freak inserts. the stock is wayyyy overbore for most paints.

Those inserts are nifty but it is typically better without.

thanks you were right its working fine. now i just the money to get the freak inserts. wth would they give you that big of an insert

speaking of inserts, has anyone had any experience with the stainless vs aluminum inserts? any noticeable changes?

so that you can shoot any paint that you want out of the box. The gun was marketed in europe and across the US as an "ion on steroids out of the box", paint sizes in europe are bigger, and field paint varies across the US, so they just gave the biggest freak insert available. better than a .682 insert where over half of the paint you would shoot would be larger and break in the barrel. Basically, it was the safest size they could include.

there shouldnt be, except that the stainless should be less prone to scratching and bending. there might also be some temperature tolerances with the metal expanding or contracting in the cold, but I dont have my period table with me, and I don't think itll make that big of a difference anyways.

^^^ agreed, go with the cheaper one. The difference should be negligible.

what inserts do you use most of the time? im only looking to buy two or three of the inserts not the whole deal. i already have the 693 insert
