If the news to come has anything to do with the ideas that J has been kicking around dealing with a more unified and focused NE tournament paintball community, then I can't wait.
Sad to see the 'Canes go, though.

It may be an end, but it will become a new beginning as well....
I'd like to say that I am proud of the Hurricanes for the run that they had. Last year was the most successful year any professional team from New England ever had and it was a pleasure to watch. I myself took the new a little hard, but I understand where this decision came from through my talks with Jeff over the last few weeks... Just suprised that he actually ended it... but at the same time, it could be a new beginning with a new focus and concept that I share.
I know most of the Hurricane players will move on to new teams and continue to make their mark in the sport.
As for Jeff, after talking to him today, I feel a little better. He is at peace with his decision with no regrets, which was good to hear.
I know some of you said this is another hit to New England paintball, which in a way is true, but like Jeff said, his team was made under the 2004 pro model, which does not work in today's world. We need a new breed of players who of the understanding of the way it is today. I can honestly say, this is something that is happenning and will be the building blocks for a stronger pool moving forward.
Congratulations to Jeff and to every Hurricane player who has been a part of this Hurricane era. You were all building blocks to the most successful team every to come out of New England in the Pro division.

On a serious note, I hate to see the canes leave. I have a good feeling about what Jeff is planning on doing though. But I'm really gonna miss that hurricanes. (such a good name too) |

I've always been a fan of the Hurricanes. Watching them go from the NEPL to Pro. I'm glad we had an opportunity to get our butts handed to us by them in the NEPL. Best *** whooping we ever took. Gonna miss you guys!

On another note sad to see the canes leave, i remember seeing them for my first time at nppl boston at gillette stadium.
