Hpr

Hey is there any way to check my HPR pressure on my Protege? I have an LPR tester by the way. If you can what is the reccomended pressure for it?

I use an old on/off that has a gauge on the side instead of a macro fitting. This allows you to check the pressure of any HPR or tank with standard threading. I'd start around 175 and work your way up until you hit chrono speed.

Alright. Here is the Story. There is a leak which Ive had for some time. My pressures are good and I have replaced all of the orings I could think of that might cause a leak coming from the back or the frame (near the solenoid). I had another thread on this where you guys told me to check my pressures and something about my solenoid. My lpr is jusst below 80 psi and my hpr is set at about 180 psi. What could be the problem?

Have you checked the racetrack O-ring? I've had the race track O-ring pop out of it's groove and vent to the back of the grip frame.

What about the ram sleeve O-rings?

well lets trouble shoot a bit more, turn your lpr all the way down (not so far that it leaks out the screw though) and pull the trigger a few times, if the leak goes away its lpr related.

Wouldnt that just take all of the pressure out of the gun?

no if you turn the lpr all the way down and the leak stops then you know its a low pressure area thats leaking, but if the leak doesnt stop then its high pressure air some how getting back there, like via the race track oring.

Means either the noid is leaking or something that has lp air going through it is leaking.
