About 1/8 of an inch right now. 6 inches to come, but that won't open the trails. Oh and my Upper Peninsula trip is so far canceled because the warden (mom) doesn't want me and my dad to go

You can't go wrong with Klim gear, but if you can't afford it HMK makes quality gear i have noticed. Get something your comfortable in and warm nothing worse then being cold behind the bars only an hour into the day.

Looks nice.
I was going to get a new can, but heard that O.P.P. (Canada) gets pissed and automatically gives you a ticket. Haven't looked into the specifics though.

New York isn't too fond of cans, but when I ride serious state trails in the snowmobile destinations of NY, I put the stocker back on. My primary riding is lenient local state trails and a lake about 5 miles from my house. No problems with the can yet. If you ride in an area amongst a lot of police checkpoints, I'd strongly advise against a can.

We got 8 inches of snow. Don't think I'll be able to take my UP trip this year.

The snow is pounding about 45 minutes north of me, as well as sufficient amounts locally. The Tug Hill plateau is where it counts for me though, I'm within an hour of the Northeast's best riding
Just gotta get the sled registered, hopefully tomorrow.
