vice HPR extera oring?

ok so ive been heaving issues with a (new to me) vice and im finally cleaning the reg cause I finally got grease. anyways i took the shim stack out of my HPR to find what looks like a extera oring (I THINK) anyways I took shim stack out and its like this

top of shim stack-> |)()()(| <-bottom of reg/adjustmentscrew
. oring here^ its in between the metal piece and the shim stack just kind of wedged there. there is also one on the metal piece.

all the video's I watch of reg maintenance don't have it but they are a year old or so.

This is a new addition to Bob's current guns.

If you have bought a Vice within the last year-year and a half, you might find that your HPR has all aluminum components (no delrin piston!) and that the shim stack is held together by this o-ring.

yeah i have the same thing... it's just a new thing bob added about 1-2 years ago. the oring helps keep the stack in place and the aluminum piston helps keep everything inline.
