Just got the new eye pipe - are people still taking off the orange oring like the previous pipes?

It's still a lot easier to put the eye pipe back in without that o-ring.

Hey guys,
First of all, thanks for the quick turnaround on the updated parts. Called on Monday and they came in today.
I have a question, regarding the bolt tip air flow insert. The mod sheet indicates to use the orange tip for maximum efficiency and the blue tip with fragile, tournament-grade paint.
That's straight forward enough, but does either tip have an accuracy advantage over the other?
Thanks again.

played a tourny this weekend using some of the NT's... Poop canons all day. We were having barrel breaks, chopping, and shoot down issues. I had to switch to my DM10, buddy of mine had to switch to an ego8. My other buddy didn't have a choice but to use his NT. Mine and another one have all the updates and we were still having issues.. Before I thought it was the paint (we as a team have pretty fragile paint) but after shooting ultra evil today.. I really don't know. Any ideas? I have 4 Nt's on my team that are not working as they should.

I myself have used evil and i dont know what it is with those paint and the nt, they just don't shoot right out of that gun, just keep chopping. Have used different type of paint and the gun just shoot perfect no ball breakage at all. Hope thats not your sponsor paint!

I would check to see what the Hyper3 regulator pressure is set to. If the regulator is set properly the bolt will not be hard on fragile paint and will be very soft. That would allow you to shoot paint like Ultra Evil. Other than the reg pressure there isn't another reason why you couldn't use fragile paint.
Read through this card and it will explain how to properly set up your marker and use the spacer rod and spacers to help with the velocity issues.

Hmm... I wonder if I am setting the guns up wrong. I had to shoot under 290 fps this past weekend and that was when I had the "choking" issue happening. Perhaps the gun was not set in the correct input pressure? In that link EWOK posted, it says to put the NT at 300 fps, then add one "VOLUME INSERT". Is that the spacer rod or the little rings???
Thanks

Chrono to 300 and then use the spacer body to lower the velocity.

I was just thinking about it, you tell us to set the Hyper 3 to 130 psi and work from there but if we have already fiddled with the hyper 3 (like after a rebuild) and have no idea what current psi we are at, how are we supposed to test it? Since you have different reg threads that prevent people from using a standard reg tester

I have the same question as well -- is there a way to test the reg pressure so you can definitively know what it is set at?
Thanks.

Sorry for your bad luck. I guess I got my request in right before the folks left. Just FYI, the updates are easy to install and I've had no problems at all since installing them. Hopefully, yours will show up in a day or two.

Last night I chronod to 300, installed the spacer deal, and still had barrel breaks. My vlocity went from 300 (before spacer) to 280 +/- 10. Any thoughts? Also i'm using good paint (works with every other gun I have or my teammates have).
