If you store your firearms properly, you'd have to take time to open the safe. Broom's faster to grab. Also, an ak's 7.62x39 would go through a bad guy, out his back, through the wall, and into the neighbors house. Broom is just plain safer.

Ak47 for intimidation and the broom taped to it like a bayonet for a non lethal choice.
EDIT: Also a "loud crash" suggests that something has been broken, the broom can be used to clean up.

im looking for a laser sight for my XD 40, any suggestions?
Those personal defense rounds are freaking mean FYI
I personally prefer the 20 ga with 0000 buckshot, i don't even have to be close

Streamlight FTW. I really like the TLR-2, it combines a tactical light and laser sight. They're expensive but they're a true tactical attachment. If you want something on the cheap, just for home defense, you can look for Laserlyte products. They can be had for around $100. Basic, but effective.

its f f f f freezing in jersey luckily no snow..yet..i gotta buy a futon dam it..girlfriend bought me a 32" samsung lcd hdtv for my birthday and all but i dont have anything to sit on in my room besides my bed and im not going to tell her i dont like the tv stand she got me cause i do like it.
