Need Help

I am totally new to this but have gotten my hands on a Sheridan XTS series marker. I want to put a longer barrel on it but nothing out there for a sheridan anymore. Can anyone make any inexspenvive suggestions to improve this starter gun for me. Thanks in advance

yeah you are better off getting a newer marker that is up to date it will have less problems and if you ever need a part it will be easy to find.

Yep, have fun with that gun and spend your money playing, not on upgrades. Upgrades are for high end guns.

Once you've played a lot, have a better idea of what newer gun you want, then go buy it and move on, but for now spend that cash on paint, playing, and decide what's the gun for you for the future.

if memory serves, the XTS had spyder barrel threads, which makes your choices practically endless. the stock barrel for that marker would be a bit on the large side, 691 or better, so any decent barrel in say, 687-689 would do well for you, especially if you use recreational or field paints. inexpensive choices that are good would be CP 1 piece, J&J, or evil driver.

I believe this is correct. You can probably get a very cheap spyder barrel in the BST section. If you have no luck there, PM me and I may be able to hook you up with something.

FYI - the detent is a standard tippmann part. The seal on the hammer is the same part as a Mokal Mirage/Titan ... I've also heard rumor a Tippy 98 rear bolt can be made to fit as well.
Soemtimes it's just fun to play with the old school markers no one remembers.
