Why Aquinas' stance that science can prove god does more to disprove it and why Darwinian Evolution is more reliant

It's ok, go ahead and base you're beliefs and existence on falsities (jk).
Really though, Aquinas was the smartest Religious backer I've come across thus far. I mean at least the guy believed that Science helped more then hamper, and during his time, that was a huge step to take.
Of course, in modern time we see the Science community almost ripping apart Darwin for his claims, even though he even stated "I am leaving out things that technology of my time can't clarify for me", and we see the Papal community backing the thoughts of Darwin....weird twist.

Straight ready to slam all 8 pages down in front of my professor and tell him "KISS THE BABY"!!!

I could **** out 2300+ words on evolution and smile when I did it. I love that topic. Richard Dawkins is my scientific man-crush.
What class was it for?

metaphysics. Dawkins, Hume, Dennett; all have been pretty enlightening.

Hume is one of my favorite philosophers, but I hate reading the guy. His style is either unnecessarily complex or my professor is picking the worst things to give us an exam over.
Again, gotta give it up for Dawkins. I'd probably throw my panties at him if I saw him in person.

Tried running for the first time today since getting mono...pretty much back to ground zero on my running.
I used to run 3-4 times a week doing:
1.5-2 miles
.5 miles walking curves/sprinting straights
~.5 miles stairs
Tonight:
1.25 miles
.25 miles walking curves/sprinting straights

Yea Hume mos def knows how to NOT just say what he really wants. I've been so confused numerous times on his readings. I've even had professors come out and say "i wont give you any Hume to read because I dislike the material for this topic, plus it's stupid".
Speaking of Dawkins, my metaphysics professor has had the privilege of working with him.

im betting a little bit of both because everything i've ever read or been assigned to read by Hume has been difficult to read simply because he writes in the style of "im a 18th century scholar so I have to use large unnecessary words and awkward sentence structure"
(edit) I agree with Arnold, his **** is just confusing, im still trying to figure out what i read...and my professor did not give me the luxury of not reading it either...damn you A&M curriculum!!!
I like metaphysics but I prefer political philosophy, Friedrich von Hayek is pretty awesome

I'll let you inform Socrates, Locke, Hobbes, and Marx of the non-existence of political philosophy...or would you prefer i use the term Social Philosophy?
and of course politics has no morals, the people practicing the politics are the ones that determine what is moral or immoral in their own political systems
