Good point. However this is just the result of removing an awful piece of the offense. The offense was still doing its job, but Collins is done as an NFL player. They had no real passing game with Collins in. Young does bring that to the team, however all the other parts of the offense are still doing their job. I know you think I'm riding CJ's nuts, but in terms of offense he has contributed 800 yards while Young has thrown for just over 1,000. This kind of RB production is rare and Young has had games where he has only had to make a couple of completions to assist the team in winning. He does his part, but he is not the sole reason that the team has won 6 straight.
If you want to say he is the reason they have won 6 you can, but I think that it has more to do with the removal of Collins. With a couple of exceptions (Russel, Quinn, Stafford, maybe Sanchez), I think that almost any QB could have gone into the Tennessee situation and won 6 straight. Young has not been asked to play extraordinarily since he took over as starter and outside this last drive, I think you can agree with that. That lack of stellar play speaks volumes about what a 5-0 record can mean.

A good quarterback should have to come back in the 4th quarter
EDIT: I meant to say shouldn't

Trying to compare VY to Tom Brady and Peyton Manning is hilarious.
VY is not even close to their level of clutch.

VY is...
...finally starting living up to what he was drafted to do, and that's lead his team to wins.

Yea Peyton Manning is crap. Theres 2 other facets of the game known as Defense and Special Teams which the QB has virtually no control over.

Vince Young is never going to light up the league for 4,500 yards passing and 30 touchdowns, but he knows how to win, and that is what matters. He has won everywhere he has been.
End of story.

It's not always the quarterbacks fault because they're behind....a receiver could fumble leading to a td, kickoff for a td etc.

Well, you special teams yea, but a QB can certainly help his defense by keeping them on the sidelines and protecting them by not turning the ball over. It will always happen, but ask the Bears defenders off the record how they feel about Cutlers 20 picks so far this year and if thats hurt their ability late in games to end opposing drives. I agree a defense needs to be good, but its a total team effort. The offense has to protect the defense and vice versa.

Lets not forget that the Titans defense is healthy again, unlike in the beginning of their seasons. But they do look like a completely different team with VY in.

Vince Young is easily the most overrated player in the NFL. The guy got so much hype his rookie year when he was barely an average QB. Same this year.
CJ has been unstoppable and they've been playing teams that a band of PBN nerds could beat. Not to mention Kerry Collins is a joke.

That's ridiculous. A RB could fumble, the O Line could be playing like **** that day, defense could be on a bad day, etc.
It also says a lot about the mental toughness of a QB who can rebound in the 4th quarter after having a bad game. A bad game is gonna happen to everyone, but the great ones can put the first 3 quarters behind them even if they're down 2 TD's and the team has looked sub par all game

Case in point, Manning against the Pats and against the Texans. His team was down and time and time again he's proven, to me anyway, to be one of if not THE top 4th quarter qb in the league.

Or in 2003 against the Bucs when Manning did much of the same of what he did against New England. Or in 02 against Denver. Or in 06 against Denver. Or in 03 against the Quiefs in the playoffs.....Peyton has done it time and time again and will go down as the GOAT. Favre is making it more and more difficult every day but Peyton is a machine and will continue to be the best in the league. Brady had his 1 year in the sun and thats all gone now. Brees has just started to come on but Peyton is the rock. He's there every year week in week out.
