tank regulator tightening?

Hello,

Not totally sure if this is the right section for this question, but I recently got my tank hydrostatic tested, and the regulator is loose. is this a huge problem? because I cant even unscrew my empty tank from the asa without the regulator staying where it is and the tank itself unscrewing. What should I do?

Ok. It is safe to unscrew your tank SLOWLY from the reg. There are lips in the threads so that the air will all leak out safely, and then continue to remove the tank. When there is 4500 PSI (this is only pertaining to HPA) you will not be able to unscrew the regulator. Just not possible. Too much pressure. Take your tank off carefully, and send it into the manufacturer, stating the problem. They will loc-tite it up for you. Let them do it. This is not a DIY.
