Ion Board for $2000
One of my friends has a Ion and He hates that i have an Ego and he is always telling me that his Ion has a $2000 Board in it and its going to beat mine - Fail

Tell him he should have bought a 2 Bob Long Vice or 2 Victorys, or 1 Dye NT or 1 Dm10 istead of a $2000 board for a $200 marker. But I do share his feelings towards Egos. Sorry bud nothing personal! With a lot less money you can get the same performance of an Ego with way lighter preassures. Anyhow he is crazy if hw indeed bought a board for that much! |

and the protoge/vice with the LP poppet are so much more quiet then egos
although i am for egos and not against im just stating a point
also egos are getting quieter because jack wood has said it himself he is slowing down the bolt speeds of egos

I had a RL intimdator that shot +/- 2 (and I feel only because ABS was up and the first shot was 282), was quieter than the british knock off and looked better. Just because it has a QEV doesn't make it worth 2K. On another note, 2K for a board for an Ion is lube-less anal rape and should be discouraged whenever possible.
