Hi!

I know exactly what you mean!
I had the same problem when I installed virtue laser eyes in my M8! And believe me, the wires are thick as hell!

The trick is to put 2 wires to each side. If you find it hard, tape it together, it's much easier!

I had the same problem with the critical trigger, haven't tried with the stock one...

I'm gonna subscribe this topic, and when I get some time... I'll take some pictures to show you, ok?

Just let me know if you got it solved before that!

cheers

So here are the pictures!

Note that the wires are smashed, but working fine! I assume it's just the wire cover itself that is damaged!
When they stop working, I will know why, hehe!
The trigger is working fine, after spending a long time... because the wires were in the way when the trigger is going forward.

I have a friend that builds his own eyes with a very thin wire, it's awsome!

Hope it helps! Good luck

Please note the wires going under the solenoid:

BTW... for now it's still working!

When I put it together, the first screw I fully tight is the one closest to the LPR, and then the one in the back.
Yes it' normal that it become a bit loose, but over time, if you keep tightening it, there should be no problem.

The eyes of that store, seem the same as the ones you got. I know the image is too small, but just look at the plug, and the led, and the wire.
But please, ask the store!! I can be mistaken.

But let's try closing that frame up once more!

Did you see where I put the plastic tape? Before and after the slenoid. If it gets more thicker, just remove it, and put another small piece, Just enough to make a full turn and a half.

Now, when you start putting it together, start on the front screw, always, no matter wich way you do it (there are 2 ways: 1- you put the screw into the grip frame and then get the frame in place, and start tightening it; 2- put the screw on the marker body, and give it just a half of turn or one full turn, and then slide the frame in from back to front, to fit the screw and LPR - sorry, can't exaplain better!).

If you managed to get the 1st screw in place, leave the back screw alone for now! Let's just tight the front one a bit further and, at the same time, look inside and watch where the wires are going! In this step you're gonna want to be very patience and cautious so the wires wont come out, or stand by the side of the solenoid. Use a tool to push them inside and UNDER the solenoid.

Once you get this done, and the front screw is so tighten that you can't see no longer the wires between the frame and the marker body, leave it alone, and move backwards. Make sure the wires are not pinched, and see if you already have the wire plugs next to the board to connect them after.

At this point, the wires should be in place, so you can FULLY tighten the screws in. If the wires are where they should be, you might have a hard time on getting the frame to fit the body, 'cause like I told you, it will fit with time... my wires are SMASHED, lol

But hey! This marker wasn't build to use wired eyes, thats why it's difficult. If you can't make this mod, just use the stock eyes, they work just as fine as the wired eyes.

post the updates please
and, sorry for my rusty english...

The alternativepb.com wires are thinner than stock DM eye wires, and may well be the solution to your problem.
