I just don't understand how the SEC can allow someone who has been paid to speak at bama booster functions can be allowed anywhere near an Alabama game in any official capacity.

and just to clear it up this guy wasn't the replay official.
He's the guy in the booth that grades the replay official on his performance and is allowed to "give advice" if needed on replays.

And i never said this is what cost us the game, it's just hilarious that someone who has been paid money by members of a university booster organization is allowed to officiate games in which a team who's booster club has paid them in the past is playing.

How can you honestly not see a conflict of interest in this situation?

And did I say that he was in the replay booth BECAUSE he has been on the bama boosters payroll? Again. No. It's just interesting that one of the biggest blown calls in a while comes with this guy being in the replay booth.

Alabama is not the only SEC booster organization that has paid him to speak. He's a very respected and requested speaker. That pretty much destroys the whole "conflict of interest." He has no ties to the University of Alabama.
