g3 problem

so, i went out to play tonight, but i was experiencing problems with my marker.

everytime it was gassed up, the maker wouldnt shoot. the board would sense me pulling the trigger, but i guess it wouldnt reach to the solenoid, because it wouldmnt shoot or even making that clicking sound it does when the trigger is pulled.

would any of you happen to know whats wrong?

first of all swap out the battery, then make sure the velocity screw isnt turned all the way in( they are set like this from the factory)

also check to make sure your solenoid is fully plugged into the board.

I had the same problem with a brand new G3. It turned out to be the solenoid. It was bad, and just worked intermittently. It would click until I aired it up, then nothing. I would completely break down the gun, lube everything, put it back together, and it still wouldn't shoot. It would shoot every now and then, but that's it.

DP sent me a new solenoid, and the gun worked just fine when I installed it. It's been perfect ever since.

Is that gun new, or have you used it before?

ive tried to disassemble everything, but when i went to disassmble the reg, the top part of the reg doesnt want to come out of the body of the gun. do you guys know what size the allen key is to remove the top part?

also, i have used the gun before, it just happened last night though.

sstiggy.........

I know this is off topic, but that red and blue Threshold in your sig really needs some SPD grips with the Superman "S" on it.
