You're right, I don't own one nor will I ever own one, but I know what they look like. A guy around here had one from way back in the day, as soon as he realized what he had he sold it as soon as he could.
It's all about what you value. You value a status symbol, because even if a sandana looks good it doesn't look +$50 good.

headwraps are unlegit if you buy them you will hear constant bickering from a lot of people because its a remake.

whos to say in 5 years these wont be worth $500 cause all the older ones will be to faded and have holes everywhere. Its not even a good status symbol anymore because all the kids that havent been around are dropping mad money just to look like they played back in the day

supply and demand. there are too many sandanas on the market now for the newer ones to ever be worth that much.

i'm not gonna make fun of either of you. but dave you ha done back in the day. i just dont get why kids want the fake ones... it makes no sense. and no they arent real. it's the mesh which is rare. and the only ones worth money are diamond cut ones. but i guess 75 for a MM is kinda descent

The only way to have a legitimate OG sandana is to have purchased it back in the day. Then through play, it has been softened and faded. Anyone else simply threw a lot of cash at someone to buy their hardwork. IMO you can't buy a sandana as a status symbol because everyone at local fields will know how long you've been playing. If you started last year and have a 90's trunk or BL... you should be looked down upon rather than the kids who buy a remake and don't act like they their ****.

so in essance, someone with a model T ford has no right to own it unless they were alive when it came out? why can't you guys appreciate the history behind this headgear? it's not my fault i was in second grade when these things were for sale. yet i own 2 |

props to exalt on the hats! the headwrap looks nice too.. too bad my pbfashion venomwear (remake  ) is in the mail  . honestly, i agree with everyone who says a 500 dollar piece of cloth is a waste of money. i could care less if i have the agg OG hotness of real trunk. really, i could be agg wearing my 686 beanie. Everytime I see a *legit* trunk sale i lol at the offers. its quite entertaining. |
