Anyone else experiencing ridiculous mental retardation from Arsenal fans trash-talking Liverpool after losing the last Carling Cup game? It's not happening in here, thankfully, but I never looked at the Carling Cup for being one of those "omg srs stuff" tournaments.
Also, put me on the first post under Liverpool please.

eh...the carling cup seems like something that should be played amongst the lower division teams

Why? It's an opportunity for bigger Premier League teams to play their youngsters, or players who otherwise wouldn't see much time, in a fairly competitive atmosphere in front of a big crowd.
Plus the smaller teams have a shot at playing in Europe if they win.
